Exit-Writer is easy to use because it has only two primary screens, the Patient Screen and the Instruction Screen. The Patient Screen allows rapid, efficient entry of patient and physician information, including special instructions and notes. It also allows you to personalize each patient’s instructions, and eliminate redundant entry by linking to your registration system.

Exit-Writer offers:

• Access Emergency Medicine or Inpatient Instructions with easy to use tabs
• Use the optional HL7 Interface or Patient Entry Screen to easily enter patient data
• Select the Attending Doctor and Referral Doctors from a list
• Indicate Tests Preformed and print related patient test instructions
• Use the easy to use pull down menus for patient follow-up information
• Add additional advice from a pull down menu, create your own list and type in free text
• Automatically fax a summary of the patient visit to the referral doctor - adding private notes
